Abstract
On Mull, two rare species were re-confirmed in the Tobermory area, several rarities were refound at Lochnameal and a survey of Bindweeds was undertaken. A number of rarities were refound and reported by regular contributors from Tiree, Coll and the small island of Gunna between them.

During several wet August days, I carried out a survey of Bindweeds, mainly found on waste areas around the villages, including Salen and Tobermory, of Mull. Calystegia silvatica (Large Bindweed) is the main species seen clambering over garden fences and hedges...

Wet conditions were also suitable for re-confirming the record for Hymenophyllum tunbrigense (Tunbridge Filmy-fern) on the west side of Mull near Penmore Mill.

Carex aquatilis (Water Sedge) at Lochnameal, south of Tobermory, where it seems to have spread around the margins of the loch. Although no flowering spikes could be seen, vegetative specimens sent to BSBI sedge expert, Mike Porter, who confirmed its presence at the only known site in the vice-county.
