Peter Hollingsworth
Royal Botanic Garden EdinburghPete is Director of Science and Deputy Keeper of the Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh. His research focuses on understanding and conserving plant biodiversity. He has particular interests in biodiversity genomics, the conservation of genetic diversity, reintroductions, and large-scale analyses of threats to biodiversity. He is an Honorary Professor of the Kunming Institute of Botany, a Visiting Professor of the Universities of Edinburgh, Johannesburg and Heriot Watt, and Chair of Bumblebee Conservation Trust.
