Recorder for vc85, Fife and Kinrosshire.
Originally a biologist at the University of St. Andrews. Started as histologist and field biologist at the marine lab. Involved with practical teaching of classes and identification aspects on field trips to sea-shores and rivers. Became joint recorder in 2010, the recorder being the late George Ballantyne; a font of all floral knowledge in vc85.
Also a Member of the Fife Wildlife Site Assessment Group.
The case of mistaken identification of the rare neophyte Verbascum densiflorum, Dense-flowered Mullein, as the much more common native Verbascum thapsus, Great Mullein, in Fife.
